Tuesday night’s game for the Rappahannock County Girl’s Varsity team illustrated just how much the team missed their star point guard Noel Johns.
“They have lost a lot of confidence in their game and I have not figured out how to fix it,” said Varsity Head Coach Rhonda Jenkins.
A recent MR1 revealed that Johns had tom the ACL and MCL muscles in her knee, an unfortunate but common sports injury for athletes. She was named to the Bull Run Second Tfeam All-District last year for basketball.
The team lost 14-39 last night against the Madison Mountaineers. Amanda Smoot
