Piedmont In Motion Regional Performing Arts Theatre presents Alice Through the Looking Glass, a light-hearted performance in dance and mime. The performance will be held at Highland School’s Rice Auditorium in Warrenton. Performances will be on January 26 at 7 p.m. and January 27 at 7 p.m. A children’s performance and Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will also be held at 12 p.m. on January 27. Tickets are $15 for adults and $6 for children ages 2-11. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Mrww.piedmontinmotion.org, www.inmotion-dance.com or by calling 540349-2439.
This is an incredible opportunity for children and adults to experience a wonderful story come to life with great music, fun props and lighting, beautiful costumes and dancers from our own community working together to share this fun, light-hearted tale of a young girl and her imagination.
The children’s performance on January 27 will be followed by a question-and-answer period Mrith the performers and choreographer. Children may also participate in the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party with performers from the show for an additional fee. The Tea Party Mrill include snacks and “tea” while children have their pictures taken Mrith the characters and chat Mrith them.
Approximately 15 Piedmont In Motion Company performers will be joined by over 40 dancers from In Motion Dance Centers (IMDC). Alice, performed by Fauquier High School senior Liana Gilb, will be joined by a wealth of talented young dancers and performers from around the Warrenton and Culpeper areas. This opportunity also allows members of our community to see and share this incredible performance of a story that is beloved by all ages.
