RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA

Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 7:00PM in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following applications:

SE 06-11-01 Finley Productions LLC, lessee of the property located at 12567 Lee Highway, Washington, Virginia, known as the Blue Rock Inn (Tax Map 28, Parcel 48, zoned A -Agricultural, Hampton District), desire a Special Exception permit to provide a day-long festival to be held on the grounds. The festival will open at 12:00PM with festivities and music will start at 4:00PM and end at 10:00PM. Use allowed under Code Section 170-36H of the Rappahannock County Code; additional standards under Code Section 170-69E.

SE 06-12-01 Mountain Laurel Montessort School, contrart purchasers of the property located at 23 Sunny Slope Lane, Flint HIII, Vlrg nia (Tax Map 13, Parcel 81, zoned A-Agricultural, Wakefield District), desire a Special Exception permit to operate a school for up to 30 students, 12 to 15 years of sge. The existing house will be used as the main school building and staff residence, as well as existing sheds and hoop bam to be used for tann Ing and outdoor studies. Use allowed under Code Section 170-368 of the Rappahannock County Code; additional standards under Code Section 170-63B, C and E.

A copy of the foregoing applications are on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and are available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Said applications will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 7:30PM at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any.
