Sharon Kay Settle is a member of the cast of the upcoming Bridgewater College production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

Miss Settle, a sophomore majoring in mathematics at Bridgewater, will play the role of Miss Jones. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Settle and a 1981 Rappahannock County High School graduate.

How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying will be presented Oct. 28-31 in Bridgewater College's Cole Hall at 8 p.m.

The play is a song and dance spoof on moneymaking in the headquarters of a big corporation in a 50-story New York office building. It is the story of a young man who determines to climb the ladder to corporate success without wasting time on thrift. hard work or reliability.

Birth Announced

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Walter, Jr. of Sperryville are the parents of a daughter, Mary Amanda, born October 4, 1982, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Virgil L Atkins of Woodville, Mrs. Betty Harrison of Viewtown and the late Thomas L. Walter.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter have, another daughter. Shannon Marie, who is six.
