Pictured (left to rightl are George Washington Beahm, Edward Calvin Beahm, Hubert Hugh Beahm, Neva Beahm Grant and Richard Arthur Grant. George Washington Beahm died at the age of 98, two years after the photograph was taken. Motorists driving to Skyline Drive from Front Royal pass a sign which identifies Beahm’s Gap, the area where the family had m their homes before the land was condemned for the park.
