Mrs. Myrtle Noakes Brown, 80, of Culpeper died Monday, October 18, 1982, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Rappahannock County and the daughter of John Thomas and Margaret W. Deal Noakes. She was the widow of Kirby Smith Brown and a member of Culpeper Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Julian James of Culpeper and Mrs. Louise B. Utz of Leesburg; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Victoria Anderson of Fredericksburg and two brothers, Carroll Noakes of Culpeper and Edward Noakes of Arlington.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday by the Rev. John S. Farrar at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
