water. Life on earth would vanish in no time without it. Districts throughout Virginia want enough dean “Water for You and Me" - the theme for Natural Resources Conservation Week, October 17-23, 1982.
Governor Charles S. Robb has officially recognized the special week during which Virginia's 43 conservation districts will be sponsoring special activities to increase public awareness of our water as well as our other limited natural resources. Locally, the Culpeper District is sponsoring a poster contest for 7th. 8th and 9th grades in all counties of the District - Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock. Awards will be given for first, second, third and honorable mention in each county with personal recognition for top winners at the District’s annual awards banquet to be held on October 28. 1982 at Graves Lodge.
