I looked in the attic. It was quieter. So I went back to my work. Then I heard a creaking noise. I wondered what that could be. I looked in my sister's room, but there was nothing there. So I went back to my work. Then I heard a door slam. I jumped out of my chair. And then I ran downstairs. Boy, was I surprised! I saw that it was the wind that slammed the door. Then I went into the living room. I saw our parrot. It said “Boo." I jumped. Did you?
