The Board of Zoning Appeals took steps last Friday to ensure that state Health Department recommendations for improving operations at the county’s dump are followed by the company that handles Rappahannock’s trash.

Last month, updating the N special use permit granted to Community Trash and Clifton Clark for a solid waste disposal on Clark’s property near Woodville, the BZA asked for a review of the site by the Health Department’s Bureau of Solid Waste and Vector Control.
