Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper bv the Rev. William Lancaster and Rev. John McKay. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Born on August 10. 1903 in Standardsville. he was the son of the late Ernest Thomas and Annie Racer Deane.
Survivors include his wife. Elizabeth Johnston Deane; one son, Russell EL Deane of Culpeper and a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Schoenfield of Falls Church; one grandchild and two sisters. Mrs. Louise Verelea of Hollywood. Md. and Mrs. Frances Durrer of Standardsville.
