Bird recalled that the BZA had earlier issued a special use permit to operate a Christian school in the Massanova Church, contingent upon installation of a septic system to meet Health Department standards.
The church bought additional acreage from adjoining land owner James Massie and installed a new drain field last spring. Savage replied. He noted that the new building lacks toilet facilities at present. “We’d like to have (plumbing) by next spring," he said, adding that it will be tied into the church's sewage disposal system. He assured the BZA that the necessary Health Department approvals would be secured.
