County libraries prepare to celebrate National Library Week next week, April 17-23, with the theme “go for it! use your library.”
At the High School, librarian Beth O’Bannon points out that the school library is now a media center as well as a source of books for references and enjoyment, offering videotapes, projectors and equipment of all kinds.
Lucia Kilby, Elementary School librarian, is conducting the spring book fair during library week, offering a selection of paperbacks from 50 cents to $5.00. All the books available will be on hand, with no orders taken this time.
And at the Rappahannock County Library, overdue books will be accepted fine-free during the week.
