Fertilize every two to three weeks with a water soluble fertilizer. Some people prefer a constant feed system in which diluted fertilizer is used with every watering.

For slightly less than a bushel of “soil-less” media, mix together:

Vi bushel #2 size vermiculite

Vi bushel peat moss

5 tablespoons ground limestone

2 tablespoons superphosphate

8 tablespoons 5-10-5 or 612-6

After mixing fertilizer, gradually add water and continue to mix until uniformly moist. If dry mixture is used in containers, it will be almost impossible to get it adequately wet for plant culture.
