To the editor:
Visiting in the Rappahannock County area one notices numbers of old cars, some of which have been (or are being) restored, others awaiting restoration, and still others that must be classed only as parts cars.
Another more highly visible activity is the all-American institution of the yard sale.
It’s observation of these hobbies in Rappahannock that prompts this letter. When combined, these two interests approach what is called an old car flea market.
Since there is indication many readers have interests in this general direction, I extend an invitation to one of the rapidly growing events in Virginia, the Spring Antique Car Flea Market and Show, which will be held at Fishersville May 14-15.
Admission is free, and there will be two old car shows, one to be judged and another that is just a display for anyone who will bring one of their vehicles, original or restored. Entry in the latter
