The movies have returned to Washington. Sponsored by RAAC, our first film two weekends ago Was greeted by an enthusiastic audience at the Gay Street Theater which has been magnificently transformed, though not yet completed, into what should be a delightful setting for cinematic and other performing arts through the efforts of an untiring crew of workers.
As chairman of the film committee of RAAC, I would like to thank everyone who has been involved for the professional setting and presentation.
We welcome and invite the entire community to come to see our outstanding selection of films and to experience our new projectors, new screen, new sound system, new heat plant, and new lobby.
