Usher’s Anniversary The Usher Board of Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will celebrate its anniversary, Sunday, April 17, at 3 p.m. Rev. Rudolph White, pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, will be the guest speaker. The Zion choir will also perform.
Gospel Concert Gospel groups from local churches will present a gospel extravaganza at the Rappahannock County Elementary School on Sunday, April 24, beginning at 3 p.m. Admission will be $2.50 for adults and $1 for children with proceeds to benefit Hopewell Baptist Church.
Spaghetti Dinner Sursum Corda School’s 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Saturday, May 7, from 5:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. Redskin Kicker Is Guest Mark Mosely of the world champion Washington Redskins will be the guest of honor from 11 a.m. to noon at Linton Hall School’s spring carnival and cross-country race, Sunday, May 1. The carnival will run from noon until 8:30 p.m. with games, food and a variety of boothes and fun for all ages. Runners can choose between the five kilometer Great Ghost Chase and the ten kilometer cross country run. Both are open to individuals and teams with registration $6 before May 1 and $8 the day of the carnival. For further information, call (703) 368-3157. Concert Rescheduled The flute, recorder and guitar concert sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 1, at 3:30 p.m. at the Gay Street Theater. The concert was originally set for Sunday, April 17.
