To the editor:
I write as a concerned citizen of Rappahannock County, as a member of our Armed Forces, and foremost as a parent of a student in the Rappahannock School system in response to the letter published in your March 10th issue titled “Parent Charges Discrimination”, by Mrs. Arlene Frye.
“I am concerned”, concerned about the lack of respect some of our young people have toward not only the education that they receive but also toward the law. Justice, you say that there is no justice; justice was served. Are there any of us so naive that we can believe that students who have reached that level in their educationand life do not know that they are accountable for their actions, especially “honor students”? Are they not the ones whom other students look up to as an example to be emulated?
