Cancels Visit
Due to a conflict in schedule, the regular visit of William Pifer, assistant to Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson, to the Rappahannock Courthouse on Wednesday, April 20, has been cancelled.
Pifer’s next visit to Washington will be on Wednesday, May 18.
Hospice
T rained
Three Rappahannock residents received certificates of completion last Tuesday after finishing the hospice training program offered by the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Helen Fairfax, Dawn Fisher and Truman Keesey, all of Washington, were awarded the certificates. Along with other area people who have taken the hospice training, they plan to continue meeting as group with the aim of affiliating with hospice organizations in Northern Virginia, according to Keesey.
