Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt returned home on Sunday after a visit with A. A. LeGrand at Boydton. While there they attended the Southeastern Night Field Trial held at Elm Hill Wildlife Reservation at Elm Hill.
Kidwell Named

Allen G. Kidwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Kidwell of Flint Hill, has been named to the dean’s list at Northern Virginia Community College.
A full time student majoring in automative mechanics, Kidwell, a freshman, has earned a 3.35 cumulative grade point average for the year on the college’s 4.0 scale.

Elects Officers
The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary held its annual meeting on Monday, April 4, at the fire hall.
New officers elected f_,r 1983 are: Mary J. Settle, president and Mildred Leake, vice-president. Josephine Jenkins was re-elected to the secretary-treasurer’s post and Marie Atkins will continue as reporter.
The auxiliary meets the first Monday of each month at the fire hall. New members are invited to join.
