community as well. I think we all need to look at the old adage “Don’t do the crime unless you can pay the time.”
As a member of the Armed Forces, it is my duty to defend and uphold the many rights and benefits we enjoy as Americans, and all too often take for granted. I am called on and willingly serve most of my duty in foreign waters and on foreign soils. That means I am separated from my family as much as nine months of the year, therefore I leave them in the hands of that disciplinary system you are so quick to judge. Yes, there is always room for improvement but without the due respect and support of that system, whether by the teacher, principal, school board, local, state, or federal government, we as a community, a nation, and may I add a great nation, will move backwards not forward.
