Rappahannock County’s new coordinator for volunteer services for the Rappahannock - Rapidan Community Services Center is Carolyn Szabad. She will be respnsible for both the Share-a-Care and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. One of Carolyn's main goals is to assist the retired population of Rappahannock to find useful, creative and rewarding ways to use their experience and many skills to help others in their county.

Carolyn and her husband Peter live in Hood, (in Madison County) where they are busy fixing up their house raising their son, George, who is six, and their foster son, Michael, who is eighteen. Another foster child, Lynn, is now married with a family of her ow n.
