the high school to voice the opinion that the punishment was too light. I agree. Now that the punishment has been stiffened, are you arguing that it is too stiff or is it that the problem has now reached home?

Discrimination? I can not see how the word discrimination ever came into play concerning this incident. As Mr. Robert Eastham stated in his letter to the editor of March 17, the three days suspension was given to all involved. The sanctions given by the school board and the disciplinary committee were given only after each case was reviewed by the board, without knowing the name, race, or prior disciplinary record. I agree with Mr. Eastham in that the sanctions were rediculously light ones.
