Kappahannock had the best employment picture in October of the five county area served by the Culpeper branch office of the Virginia Employment Commission.
According to figures released last week by the VEC, just 3.5 percent of the county’s work force was jobless. That translates into 92 unemployed out of a total civilian labor force of 2,592.
