Irvine Jenkins

Irvine Garfield Jenkins, 68, of Culpeper, died Sunday, December 4, 1983 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.

Mr. Jenkins was retired from Rochester Ropes, Corp. and was a member of Midland Baptist Church. He was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived in Culpeper for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Molly Kennedy Jenkins of Culpeper; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee Shifflett and Mrs. Judy Fincham, both of Culpeper, Mrs. Doris Myers of Brandy Station and Mrs. Nancy Geer of Brightwood; three sons, Irvine Jenkins, Jr. of Bealeton, Bobby Jenkins and Billy Jenkins, both of Culpeper; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted at Fairview Cemetery on Wednesday by the Rev. Floyd Binns.

Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
