The annual community Christmas covered dish dinner sponsored by the Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 1:30 p!m. at the fire hall.
Days Of Heaven
The RAAC film club offering this weekend is an unusual romance set in the turn-of-the-century Texas panhandle starring Richard Gore, Brooke Adams, Sam Shepard and Linda Manz. The dialogue is sparse but exquisite images communicate the story of a tragic love triangle.
There will not be a Saturday evening showing; instead, the film will be screened at a matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 10. The Sunday evening showing will be at the regular 7 p.m. time.
Christmas Program To Be
Held At Amissville Baptist
On Sunday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. the Amissville Baptist Church will present a Christmas program. The program will consist of a performance with puppets and participation by all departments of the Sunday School. The public is invited to attend.
