At their December board meeting on Monday, the Rappahannock supervisors reaffirmed their decision to retain rights to all materials salvaged from the county jail during renovation work.

Acting on a change order submitted by architect Hunter Spencer, they approved all the included items, except number 13. It read: The supervisors agree “that salvage removed from this project by Raughan Construction Company is the property of the general contractor.”
