Middle Street Gallery and county artists extend season’s greetings and an invitation to shop with a special Christmas show that begins this weekend.
“Watercolors and Works on Paper” will remain open for the month of December. “It’s a show of inexpensive watercolors and drawings by local artists. It’s their smaller work—smaller in size, not smaller in quality or artistry,” noted Middle Street owner Sarah Shorter. “It’s intended as a Christmas buying show to meet the requests of our local patrons. It’s organized especially by Rappahannock artists for Rappahannock people.”
The exhibit will be the first for A1 Kettler of Washington. He will have his meticulously excecuted pencil drawings, fantasy and county landscapes in soft colors, on display.
