“Paula and I are the only ones here who are not related,” said Woodard of the Faith Mountain staff. “But we claim to be sisters,” she added with a grin. “I’m surprised and pleased with the family response. They’re all local people. I just gave them a free, creative environment and beautiful things come out of it.”
“When I think of all the people employed here, it’s just like an industry,” Platko said. And while she fills the role of pretend sister to the boss for now, she may soon follow the tradition and truly leave Woodward as the only non-family at Faith Mountain. “I have a five year old daughter and she insists that when she gets old enough, she wants a job here; Klatko said. “She wants to work for Sherrie too.”
