Mrs. Leon (Marilyn) Bailey received word Sunday morning of the death of her stepmother, Mrs. Dorothy Vance Merrill, wife of L.V. Merrill, formerly of Washington. She died Sunday morning, Nov. 3, in DeBarry, Fla. She was years old. Memorial services will be in DeBarry this week and the burial in Manassas at a later date. She is survived by a sister. Miss Elizabeth Reading, of the same address; a brother in West Virginia and a number of nieces and nephews. Sincere sympathy is extended to Mr. Merrill, Marilyn and the family. Mr. Merrill’s address is 14 Azalea Drive, DeBarry, Fla. 32713. He would appreciate hearing from his friends in Rappahannock.
Mrs. Jean B. Moffett left on Friday to spend two weeks as a guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Page Moffett, and family in Leesburg.
