John T. Myers, Sr.
John T. Myers, Sr., 58, of Amissville, died Oct. 27, 1985 in the home of his sister, Rachel Aylor, of Sperryville.
In addition to his sister, Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Polly A. Myers, of Amissville; one daughter, Annie M. Chambers, of Columbus, Ga.; two sons, John T. Myers, Jr. and Walker B. Myers, both of The Plains; two other sisters, Gladys Brown, of Hume, and Nannie V. Williams, of Alexandria; one brother, James W. Allsberry, Jr., of Manassas; his step-father, James Allsberry, Sr., of Sperryville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Oct. 31 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Flint Hill.
Joynes Funeral Home, of Warrenton, was in charge of arrangements.
