Dr. Gaare joins staff
In September, Dr: John D. Gaare, radiologist, joined the medical staff of Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore, Dr. Gaare received a Ph.D. in anatomy and his medical degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
After an internship in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Dr. Gaare spent his residency in radiology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York.
Prior to joining the radiology group of Stinson, Wagner, Turner, and Davies, Dr. Gaare was a member of the staff of Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York. During this time, Dr. Gaare and his wife Ruth, who is a graduate of the law school at the University of Virginia, decided to return to Virginia to live. “After living in big cities, we are enjoying living in Culpeper,” says Dr. Gaare. “It is especially good for our three daughters.”
A basketball player at Loyola, Dr. Gaare enjoys many sports, particularly golf, tennis, and swimming.
