As a first step towards
alleviating overcrowding at the County Court House, the Rappahannock Space Study Committee voted at their fifth and final meeting Tuesday night to recommend to the Board of Supervisors that the Zoning Administrator’s and Registrar’s offices be combined in the same room. This would release a room to satisfy the District Court’s demand for additional space and, since both of the offices involved are open only once a week, would not cause a problem for either the Zoning Administrator or the Registrar.
Wool and lamb producers are reminded to keep all wool and unshorn lamb sales tickets in order to file for payment under the Wool Incentive Payment Program. Area producers are encouraged to stop by the ASCS office and file an application for incentive payments as soon as all wool and lamb sales for the year are completed.
