Among those from the Flint Hill Extension Homemakers Club who attended the Extension Homemakers Achievement Day program at the Baptist Church in Washington November 3 were Flo Duvall, Elsie Dodson, Margaret Dodson, Janet Eastham, Alice Pullen and Ethel Pullen.
The United Methodist Women of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church will meet at the home of Mrs. Jack Curtis on November 17 at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Gladys Bowie of Culpeper will speak to the group on her time spent in the Peace Corps. All members are urged to attend.

Little Sarah Spence of Harrisonburg and Eric Grove of Front Royal spent a few days last week with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Lee.
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest and Mrs. Christine Vest spent the weekend at Virginia Beach with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Vest and family, and attended the grand opening of Vest and Sons Auto Car Lot there. They returned to their homes Monday.
Visiting Mrs. Robert Nethers Sunday were Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Karen Corder, Heather Aylor, Mrs. Helen Coffey, Mrs. Pauline Aylor and Charles Corder Jr.
Mrs. Edith Graves of Warrenton spent Sunday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard. Also visiting the Lillards Sunday was Thomas Williams of Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. James Settle of Manassas were guests Saturday of Mrs. Settle’s mother Mrs. Ethel Pullen.
Our deepest sympathy to the family of M. R. Bradford Jr., who died Saturday in a Charlottesville hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the United Methodist Church.
