Woodrow Walters
Woodrow Wilson Walters, 70, formerly of Rappahannock, died November 7 at Massanutten Manor, Strasburg.
Mr. Walters was bom October 4, 1916, in Warren County, the son of the late Sutton B. and Sarah Frances Mills Walters.
He was a veteran of World War II and a retired custodian with the Arlington County School System. He was also a member of a Baptist Church near his home.
Surviving are his wife Vergie Marie Clark Walters of Strasburg, a sister Viola Mahoney of Winchester, a half-sister Goldie Smoot of Strasburg, a half-brother Joe Walters of Rockville, Md., and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted November 10 at the Stover Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ralph Burner. Burial was in the Panorama Memorial Gardens, Warren County.
Pallbearers were Carl Clark, Larry Welty, Wayne Pullen, Billy Mahoney, David Pullen and Richard Eastham.
