Additional programs at the Center include before- and after-school care for kindergarten through third grade children, as well as afternoon enrichment classes in dance, karate, drama and crafts. Summer sessions offer nature study, swimming lessons, painting and crafts workshops for elementary school children.
Scholarship aid is offered wherever possible, and the Center has assigned top priority to the financing of an expanded scholarship program, Mrs. Manookian said.
Adult education courses, offered evenings and in weekend workshops, have included exercise, holistic health, computers and foreign languages. The Center has expressed an interest in offering a program on virtually any subject for
