• Asked for a second bid on controlling the termites found in the four modular units at the high school and directed that the trailer at the elementary school also be checked for the destructive insects.
• Approved a new form for requesting use of school facilities.
• Set Tuesday, December 9, as the meeting for “public input” into the 1987-88 school budget. The superintendent’s budget presentation is scheduled for March 3, 1987, the public response meeting for March 10 and the School Board’s budget adoption meeting for March 17.
Sean Kilpatrick arrived at the meeting just in time to catch the board before its regular monthly executive session for personnel. Mr. Kilpatrick asked for an explanation of the heating system’s breakdown at the high school which resulted in school being dismissed early on Tuesday.
