Therefore, I wrote a letter on the subject to Mr. Miller, who is supervisor of Hampton District, where I live.
In order to phrase a resolution to the Game Commission in language all other Virginia counties use (and to which the Commission is accustomed) I asked Mr. Bankston to suggest wording which would tend to reduce the county’s deer herd. As far as I know, I am free to do this, just as Mr. Carson Johnson is free to ask Mr. Bankston how to word things so that the county ends up with a larger deer herd. Also, as far as I know, Mr. Bankston (as a public official) is required to respond to either request.
