The Rappahannock County Elementary School Student Parent Teacher Association held its second meeting on Tuesday, November 4.
Edie Clark thanked everyone who helped make the Halloween sock hop an eiyoyable and successful evening. A special thanks went to Maggie Rogers and Patti Mullan for their creative decorations.
President Cindi Andreoni announced that the teacher duplicating run off service is now in operation.
Linda Mallory gave details about the movie, Herbie Goes Bananas, to be shown at the elementary school on November 14 at 7:30. Volunteers are needed to pop popcorn, sell refreshments and clean up. Any parent interested in helping with refreshments may leave bagged popped popcorn in the elementary school’s office. The movie will cost $1 per person or $5 maximum for a family- ilyCarol

Dawn Watson of Sperryville is currently studying at the University of Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France, through the Brethren Colleges Abroad program at Bridgewater College. She will be in France throughout the 1986-87 academic year.
Miss Watson, a 1984 graduate of Rappahannock High School, is a junior at Bridgewater majoring in French and in history and political science.
Brethren Colleges Abroad is a cooperative program founded and administered by Bridgewater College and five other colleges affiliated with the Church of the Brethren. Participation in the program is open to qualified students in other colleges and universities throughout the United States, and students from more thaii 100 institutions have participated in recent years.
• Miss Watson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Pendleton Jr. of Sperryville.
