Extended hours

to ask about

electric bills

The Potomac Edison Company has initiated a new service to give customers more time to inquire about their electric bills.

Customers may now call the utility until 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays to talk to company service representatives about:

• billing

• applications for service

• after hours reconnections

• name and address changes

The Extended Customer Service program is designed to “give our working customers the opportunity to call and talk to someone about their bill after work hours, when it is more convenient to them,” says Fred Stenger, program coordinator.

To reach a customer service representative after normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) customers in Maryland and Virginia should dial their local PE office number.
