Visiting Mrs. Alice R. Wood Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Saunders of Culpeper. Sunday afternoon guests were Mrs. Erma Brown and Mrs. Gladys Bowie of Culpeper.

Mrs. Leonard Campbell was a guest of her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bailey in Manassas Thursday until Saturday. Thursday night the family attended a football game at which Kristen Bailey was a cheerleader for her school team. The Baileys and Mrs. Campbell spent Saturday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Cameron and children Jennifer and Mike of Front Royal, and with them had dinner at the Golden Corral in Front Royal.

Guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Crews were their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baber and children, Cathy and Bill of Brandywine, Md.

God will take care of tomorrow, with him each tomorrow must rest, we hold this a true conviction, when we give each day our best.

Choral Society sets

concert dates

The Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society announces its annual Christmas Candlelight Concerts will be presented Friday, December 12, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 14, at 3 p.m. at the Culpeper United Methodist Church, Rt. 29 South of Oaklawn Drive.

The concerts will be free and open to the public. Individual and business patrons are needed in order to financially support these concerts for which the expenses usually exceed $3,000.
