CCLC host its first
Christmas bazaar
Santa will be arriving at the Child Care and Learning Center Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to noon to help celebrate the Center’s first Christmas bazaar. Frank and Esther Schmidt of Franklin Photographers will be donating their skills to photograph the children with Santa (in memory of Matthias Beck). The pictures will cost $5 each.
A Children’s Shopping Room will be available so children can shop for their families. All items will be under $1 and gift wrapped for the child.
Items to be offered will consist of homemade baked goods, cloth books, ornaments, picture frames and homemade Christmas cards (made by the children at the Child Care and Learning Center). Lunch will also be offered in the afternoon.
A brass crib with bedding and a farm table will be given away. The winner need not be present.
All proceeds go to the Center’s scholarship and operational funds. If anyone is interested in donating items please contact Marsha Thompson, chairperson, at 987-8530 or the Child Care and Learning Center at 675-3237.
