wed Mr. Coates
Mr. and Mrs. Dean Irvine of Madison and James P. Leake of Sperryville announce the engagement of their daughter Pamela A. Leake to Kenneth W. Coates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh R. Coates of Haywood.
Miss Leake is a 1984 graduate of Madison County High School and is presently employed at the University of Virginia.
Mr. Coates was graduated in 1981 from Madison County High School and is employed with Eddins Ford in Madison.
The wedding is planned for May.

On March 15 the Washington Baptist Church will have a group of young people from the Fredericksburg Baptist Church conducting the 11 o’clock worship service. These young people served as home missionaries in Southbury, Conn, last summer.
The Rev. Greg Smith, minister of Education/Youth of the Fredericksburg Baptist Church along with Susan and Wayne Cruse, puppeteers, will also share in the worship service.
A covered dish luncheon will be served immediately following the morning service. Everyone is invited, especially the young people of the community.
