Mrs. Olga Zechman of Alexandria was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lindstrom. On Saturday they eiyoyed the Point-to-Point races at Sperryville, where they were joined by Mrs. Gladys Harris, Mrs. Helen Smith, Mrs. Margaret Boucher and Mrs. Ann Schilling of Front Royal. After the races they all had dinner with the Lindstroms.

Friday night the Lindstroms entertained at dinner forjudge Harris Grimsley of Alexandria, speaker for the Historical Society meeting which was held in the recently remodeled courtroom. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and Mrs. Gladys Havstad, all of Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. John Atkins and children visited Mrs. Virginia Cloud and Mrs. Addie Keyser Sunday.

Weekend guests of Mrs. Janie Pullen were her daughter Mrs. Sue Smoot and granddaughter Missy of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown Estes of Culpeper visited Mrs. PullenSunday.

We are glad to hear that Miss Ruby Jenkins has returned to her home after being a patient in Fauquier Hospital for several days, due to a fall and a broken bone.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and family were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Slack of Baltimore. Md.

Guests Wednesday of Mrs. Ned Settle and family were Mrs. Johnny Moulis of Silver Spring, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. William Timlake and new baby Taylor of Clifton Park, N. Y. It was Mrs. Settle’s first visit with her firstgreat-grandchild.

Mrs. Mattie Ball Fletcher was a guest from Sunday until Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Slater and children at Upperville.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were dinner guests Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Huffman in Luray.

Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Frances Eubank were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Menefee Jr. and daughter Patricia and Ms. Betty Menefee of Warrenton, John Reese of Sterling Park and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson and daughter Victoria of Sperryville. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smoot and daughter Crystal of Lake Front Royal were afternoon callers.

Mrs. Eubank spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Minnie Foster in Flint Hill.

Ashton Burke of Warrenton visited his mother Mrs. Charlie Burke Tuesday.
