Facing that time limit and a request from the Board of Supervisors for their proposed 1987-88 budget by March 27, the School Board members set a special meeting - the fourth in this month - for Friday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the central office.
Chairman Beverly Massie asked that board members give the superintendent their suggestions on alternative design changes so the options can be forwarded to the architects for “costing out” in time for the special meeting.
“This is just a list,” said Mr. Estabrook, rattling the architect’s catalog in his raised hand. “The board can look at any aspect of the project itdesires.”
