Emily Adams
Emily Jane Adams, 65, of Fort Valley, died March 6 at Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Adams was bom Feb. 20, 1922, in Fauquier County, a daughter of the late Rice Russell and Mary Athey Russell. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband Harvey T. Adams, three sons, Tim Adams of Morganton, N. C., David Adams of San Diego, Calif., and Stephen Adams of Fort Valley, two brothers, Charles Russell of Huntly and Reid Russell of Sandston, Va., three sisters, Genevieve Mattingly of Front Royal, Deni Middleton of Richmond and Ann Warner of Falls Church, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted March 8 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Fort Valley by the Rev. Crockett Huddle. Burial was in Panorama Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Robert Coverstone, Chris Ramey, Rolf Middleton, Gary Ramey, Doug Ritenour and Charles Plauger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
