Mrs. Sandra Cartwright-Brown reports that the Progressive Dinners will be ending this Saturday. The last dinner will begin at the Caledonia Farm in Flint Hill, then to Heritage House in Washington, on to Meadowood, with Mrs. Lorraine Robson and concluding at Conyers House, home of the CartwrightBrowns.
Mrs. Cartwright-Brown rode in the pair race at Rappahannock races Saturday and was delighted that she finished in third place.
Douglas King of Pennsylvania, who brought three horses to the races, was among the guests being entertained at Conyers House.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Jenkins spent the weekend in Roanoke.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and Joseph had as luncheon guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schultz of Manassas. On Monday Mrs. William Peregory of Front Royal and Mrs. May Gheen of Maurertown were luncheon guests, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burke of Rochelle were guests for dinner.
