CPR classes to be held
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be offering CPR classes March 15 and 22 from 2 to 6 p.m. Cost for materials is $2. Preregistration is required. For reservations or additional information call Diane Morris at 937-4274.
Stress management workshop
A workshop entitled Touch Techniques and Stress Management will be held at the Child Care and Learning Center March 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The class will be taught by Carrie Blair and Kurt Millar. For additional information contact Ms. Blair (364-1232) or CCLC (6753237). The cost of the workshop will be $55.
Practical nursing class
Piedmont Technical Education Center has extended the application deadline for the Practical Nursing class to March 20. If you are interested in being a Licensed Practical Nurse, the Center offers an 18-month program to prepare the student to take the State Board of Nursing examination. This class will start in September 1987. It is open to adults of any age as well as high school seniors and rising seniors. There is no tuition charge for residents of Culpeper, Madison, Orange or Rappahannock counties. The cost for the course is between $600-1,000 which is distributed over the 18-month period.

Th*Diabetic Support Group will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the hospital dining room. Free blood sugar monitoring.
Free blood pressure screening every Wednesday from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. in the South Lobby of the hospital.
The Stroke Support Group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Physical Therapy Department at 4 p.m. The Support Club is for persons who have had a stroke and/or members of their families.
The Heart-to-Heart Club will meet on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. at the hospital.
The Alzheimer’s Support Group will meet on Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m. in the Inservice Office at the hospital.
