Ricky DeWayne Jenkins and Thu Thuy Jenkins, both of Sperryville are pleased to announce their engagement.
Miss Jenkins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Jenkins of Sperryville. She graduated from Meade Senior High in Maryland and is presently employed by Eileen M. Day, Realtors.
Mr. Jenkins, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood DeWayne Jenkins, also of Sperryville is a graduate of Rappahannock High School and is employed at R & D Construction in Dale City.
The wedding will take place Saturday, May 23 at the home of Mr. Jenkins’ parents. Family and dose Mends are welcomed.
4-H Center
pool opening
The Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center has announced the schedule for its 1987 pool season which will begin on Saturday, May 23. The pool will then be open weekends thru June 7th and daily from Saturday, June 13 thru Monday, September 7.
Hours are from noon until 6 p.m. and admission is $1.50 for children and senior citizens and $2.00 for adults. Season passes are available for $80 individual and $140 family. Various classes have been scheduled during the season. For more information call the Center at 635-7171.
‘Summer of Praise’

qommunicatiopa, |nc., a non-profit tax-exempt organization announces its second “Summer of Praise” Christian softball tournament, scheduled for Saturday, May 23, in Manassas.
Praise Communications owns and operates radio station WPRZ (1250 AM) in Warrenton.
