Regional attitudes varied most regarding questions about the pace of development and the quality of roads.
In the Central Piedmont and the Shenandoah region, about 40 percent of the rspondents rated as “good” the management of the pace of development by local government, while another 18 percent gave local government an “excellent.”
Similarly, about 50 percent of Central Piedmont and Shenandoah region residents said the pace of growth in their communities was “about right,” while 75 percent of Northern Virginia residents agreed the pace of growth was “much too fast,” or “a little bit too fast.”
Meanwhile, most Shenandoah region and Central Piedmont residents describe their roads as “good” or “fair,” according to the poll.
