A.P. Hill Day
in Culpeper
The Town of Culpeper and its local Historic and Cultural Conservation Board will host “General A. P. Hill Day” on Saturday, May 16.
Public events will include a book signing by the noted author and historian, Dr. James Robertson of Virginia Tech, author of the recently published General A. P. Hill: The story of a Confederate Warrior, who will speak at the historic Culpeper County Court House, a wreath laying at the Confederate Monument in conjunction with a simultaneous wreath laying in Richmond, Va. at the Gen. A. P. Hill Monument and grave, concerts, strolling musicians, a Southern Railway train exhibit, a walking tour among Culpeper’s historic antebellum homes and a garden party.
